Itinerary: 

Day 01:Arrival

We will meet our group at Kathmandu Airport. Transfer to the hotel. We will brief about the trekking and free day.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Sulichaur

The trek starting point, Sulichaur is connected by road from Kathmandu. There are no flight connection between Rolpa and Kathmandu unless. The hill drive is a joy with scenic attraction along the way and few interesting places like Kapilbastu, swargadwari and Rapti River. Sulichaur is a trek starting and ending point and main trekking hub in Rolpa district.

Day 03: Sulichaur to Kotalbara (1606m)

A typical day start at 8 am after having breakfast at the hotel. In this day we halfly travel in the graveled road by Jeep and walk afterwards. The major attraction of this day is Sunchahari Jharana which comes on the way. Half an hour drive from Sunchahari Jharahana, we reach Pobang where we rest for a tea. We cross many places finally we reach our destination point Kotalbara. A tiny settlement Kotalbara has very basic accommodation facilities plus a medical store and police post.

Day 04: Kotalbara to Commune Village (2217m)

This day is one of the most exciting days in trek as you go through varieties of geographical condition. After breakfast at Kotalbara, we walk through start the normal trail till Posbang River. After having lunch at Posbang,we continue walking and cross the highest point of that day’s trek Dilbhanjying. We stay overnight at Commune village.

Day 05: Commune Village to Thabang (2000m)

After lunch, you trek to Thabang (2000m). After reaching Thabang which is a soft 1.5 hrs walk from Commune through the Marijuana field. You are welcomed by a Magar community through music and dance. We can see the cultural performance from Magar community.

Day 06: Acclimitazatiom day in Thabang

Thabang is popularly known as Magar dominated village, they break the social- Taboo of racial discrimination in that region as well. Thabang offers you the significant cultural, historical and natural attraction.

Day 07: Thabang to Jaljala (3107m)

After breakfast, we will trek to jaljala, a point religiously, politically and naturally importance to Rolpa. Situated at an altitude of 3107m above sea level, Jaljala can be reached at 6 hours but the way is too steep. Jaljala, meaning a water land that is covered wet almost every time of year. This place is politically, naturally and culturally importance to Rolpa.

Day 08: Jaljala  to Dharampani- Majhibang

After breakfast, we trek uphill towards Dharampani, the highest point of the trek. Dharampani is the historical place in Rolpa as there is a martyr’s memorial statue. Dharampani can be reached in 3 hours from Jaljala. Since therenis no human settlement and the place is windy almost all the time, we can take packed lunch with us. After lunch we trek downward to Majhibang. Crossing the highest pass of trek, which is lying at an altitude of 2100m, can be reached in 4 hours from Dharampani.   

Day 09:  Majhibang

Majhibang, is one of the most advanced village we will see during the whole trek. Untouched by the road, it lies in between the two rivers, giving it a name Majhibang (middle ground). The village is situated in naturally beauty place, place here seem to be more aware about the development. They do have the toilet in every home, improve cooking stove which consumes less wood and no smoke; the houses are clean and well furnished with local materials. In the evening, we can see the cultural dance under different themes which includes the daily chores of typical Magar people.

Day 10: Majhibang- Jalibang – Sulichaur

After breakfast, we will trek down to Jaibang (1.5 hrs), a sister village of Majhibang. Here also will be welcomed by Magar community with dance. After having a cultural program in Jaibang, we will have lunch there and walk down half an hour to vehicle meeting point. We will drive 4 hours and reach sulichaur, the trek ending point.

Day 11: Sulichaur to Kathmandu

In this day, we will drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 12: Departure

This is the last day in Nepal. We will wave our hands with the hope to see you again or you can extend the tour to visit several touristic destinations of Nepal.
