Itinerary: 

Day 01: Kathmandu-Anpghari- Shikarpur (1656m)

The drive from Kathmandu goes passing historic cities of Bhaktapur, Banepa, and Dhulikhel and continues via BP road to Nepal Thok. Trekking from Aapghari to Shikharpur is a moderate one. The trail passes through villages and steeply gains a height of over 1000m, as we climb hills through village routes. We walk along the gardens and local village of many communities.

Day 02: Shikarpur to Phusre Gang (2113m)

From Shikharpur, we continue trekking uphill passing Gyangdanda village named after already demised ghyang or monastery of Tamang people. They welcomed by local foods and drink. Today’s short trek takes us to one of the highest point in thr Mahabharat range at Phusre gang at 2113mtr. We can see Himalaya range from our camp.

Day 03: Phusre Gang to Katarche Danda (1865m)

From Phusre Gang we trek along the ridge of Mahabharat and shortly we drop to Juge Pani (1809m) for lunch. Juge Pani has a well running cheese factory that produces cheese and paneer among other things. Katerche danda at 1865m is almost 1.3 hours walk from Juge Pani. Katarche Danda offers one of the most spectacular views of the Himalayas from ganesh Himal and manaslu to Langtang, from Gaurishanker and Everest to peaks in Tibet.

Day 04: Mornign hike to Godechuli Danda (2361M) and trek to Deurali Danda (1421m)

After early breakfast we get ready to climb Godechuli Danda, a major attraction of the trek. Further 2 hours walk from Katarche Danda could reach up to Gode Chuli Danda, one of the highest spots in Mahabharat range. We trek to Deurali Danda and take just about 2 hours rapid descent from Deurali Danda to reach Kalo Dunga near the BP road. The trek passes through Thumke Danda with sparse Tamang settlements. From here we trace our way back to Bhakundebesi and back to Kathmandu via Dhulikhel.
