Overview:

This is part of the Trekking Area of Annapurna. It is a fast-moderate traveling route. No costly permission to walk to Lower Mustang is required. It is consisting of the most extensive biodiversity area in Nepal. Lower Mustang Trekking is a desert country high altitude ascending into and out of the gigantic Kali Gandaki side valley. In points, it is the deepest gorge of the world that stretches along the Kali Gandaki River. There are many ancient and remote villages with picturesque whitewashed houses of Nepal ‘s oldest Buddhist monasteries. Trekking through the most ancient monastery and unique way of life. Trek to Jomsom via Pokhara begins in this region by flight or drive. You will start on the Lower Mustang tour to Kagbeni to Muktinath to Lupra village. The best place to experience Tibetan culture in Lower Mustang Trekking. It envisages having long-standing historical and cultural ties with Tibet. This trek offers you the chance to witness the Gurung community and its unique lifestyle. You will experience beautiful, traditional Nepali lifestyle and culture while traveling through the Jomsom area. The trek duration will be of 8 days, which will take you to an altitude of 3760m. The best time for this trek is March, April, May & Oct, Nov- Dec.
ITINERARY

Day 01- Arrival in Kathmandu. (1300m)
As you land at Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport, you will find our representative to welcome you to the airport, so you can travel to your chosen Kathmandu hotel without delay. On the evening you will meet your guide, he will provide some necessary details about the trek to the Lower Mustang. -
Day 02- Spare and arrangement day in Kathmandu
Before heading towards Lower mustang trek, you'll have an extra day in Kathmandu. You can spend the day as you wish. A day will suffice to visit some of the famous heritage sites, restaurants, in Kathmandu. You can also shop for some personal trekking supplies such as medicine, Sunscreen, Trekking Shorts. -
Day 03- Dart to Pokhara (900m) from Kathmandu
You 're going to go to Pokhara by bus early in the morning, after breakfast. It will take almost 5-6 hours to get to Pokhara, the beautiful lake-side area. By road, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Mt. Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and much more. You arrive late in the evening. You'll be transferred to your Room. In the evening time, you can visit nearby Pokhara sites, such as Pokhara lakeside, one of the well-known tourist destinations in Nepal. Pokhara at night. -
Day 04- Flight from Pokhara to Jomsom, Trekking to Kagbeni (9,377 feet / 2,858m)
We travel to Pokhara airport after breakfast (less than 20 minutes) and fly to Jomsom. On clear days, the short 20 minutes flight has great views. On your flight, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the high hills and mountains. You will continue your 3-hour trek after checking out from the airport. Spectacularly situated atop a cliff overlooking the confluence of the Kali Gandaki and Jhong Khola rivers, Kagbeni is the last village in Lower Mustang and guards the entrance to Upper Mustang (visible through the Kali Gandaki riverbed). This is an oasis of green fields surrounded by steep, arid mountains, with Niligiri ascending beyond. This ancient, partially ruined citadel town is a peek into a unique lifestyle, with its narrow alleyways and tunnels, irrigation canals, barley green fields, and its huge, 800-year-old brick-red Sayka Gompa. You can walk past the ancient King's Palace of 100 rooms too. Overnight at Kagbeni. -
Day 05-Trekking from Kagbeni to Muktinath (12,522 feet / 3,817 meters)
The next day early in the morning, after breakfast we will begin our trek to Muktinath. Muktinath is an important pilgrimage site for Buddhists and Hindus, and a perfect example of a holy place that adherents of two religions share in peace. Local Buddhist nuns (a member of Lama Wangyal 's lineage) take charge of the site. Each year, thousands of devotees come here on pilgrimage from India, Tibet, and Nepal for purification and salvation. It is said that many kings in all of Asia have done the same throughout history. Spending a day here is well worth not only visiting this holy shrine but also relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surrounding. -
Day 06-Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom (8,910 feet / 2,715 m)
Next morning, we will begin our trek to Jomsom from Muktinath. We will visit the Muktinath Temple, an important place of worship for the Hindus and the Nepalese Buddhists. Before you reach the path, you'll have the opportunity to visit the main temple and its surroundings. We 're going to continue our trek back to Jomsom along a simple downhill path. You will be able to enjoy nice views of Mt. Dhaulagiri while retracing your steps. Pass via Jarkot where you can visit another monastery and enjoy the views of snow-capped mountains and ancient caves. Admire the signs of rich Tibetan culture and keep an eye out for people from Mustang who will come out and sell pilgrims handicrafts. -
Day 07-Flight from Jomsom to Pokhara and rest the day
Early in the morning, you should head for Pokhara. Your Lower Mustang tour finishes fantastically. This flight takes you from Annapurna to Dhaulagiri, along the Kali Gandaki Gorge. You'll have a day off at Pokhara before going to Kathmandu. If you're intrigued, you can visit the beautiful lake town of Pokhara too. Pokhara is one of the most popular touristic destinations in Nepal. The beauty of the lakes is possible at Pokhara, the pleasant. Boat journeys, pony rides, paragliding, bungee, or relaxing at one of the many lakes in the area. Most visitors prefer stopping before or after the Sikles end. -
Day 08-Drive back to Kathmandu
After Pokhara, we'll head towards Kathmandu. You'll have your snacks and lunch along the way. You reached Kathmandu late into the afternoon. You can rest in your hotel and spend the evening wandering nearby locations, visiting the Thamel town, which is the perfect place to visit at night. -
Day 09- Departure from Kathmandu
Our representative will take you once again to Tribhuvan International Airport before the departure flight. You can visit some nearby places or restaurants in your free time if you like.
