If you’re planning a trip to the inaccessible and famous Damodar Kund, here are some valuable bits of evidence that could be the difference between life and death, a negatively momentous journey and a relatively clear trek and journey.

This is not a comfortable and easy trek. May to September is the favorable time to visit Upper mustang. The difficulty level is based on the potential of the individual, so you have to join with a withstood trekking organization to organize everything.

Interpreted as gut-wrenching, adrenaline-pumping, and severely-challenging even for the capable, most skilled hikers, every winded whiff makes the impression from the top and every near-teary eyed walk battling the incline worth it.

The Damodar Kunda (lake) is famous as a religious place, it is situated in a rain cloud that is of High Himalayas north of the Annapurna range. The peak of the Damodar Kunda is just 4890 meters. It is a harsh and windy area.

Every year there is a huge festival up there many pilgrimages Hindu and Buddhist come to visit the full moon of August. Usually, you can tour April to September annually. Festival time will be great to tour Damodar Kund. From Damodar Kund, the impressions are great from some viewpoints which are situated a bit higher than the lakes, just a short ascent up some of the cliffs.

It is located in Upper Mustang between Kagbeni and Muktinath at the altitude of 5,400 meters above sea level. It is positioned on the base of Damodar Himal (6706 meters). The Lake streams towards the southern part and is understood to be the ancestry of Kaligandaki River and the shaligram. The travelers also believe that touching the water of the pond will annihilate the evil spirit and bring happiness in life.

The route furnishes us with the enthralling knowledge of the beauty of the Mustang region and their culture. You can examine archival hermitages, snow-capped mountains, isolated towns, and many dramatic lakes in Damodar Kunda Trekking. Views of mountains like Muktinath Himal (6,706m) and Bhrikuti Peak (6,364m) will leave you amazed. You can analyze the particular culture of Chharang village. The impression from the top of the Damodar Kunda Lake is also very extraordinary.

Mustang Damodar Kunda Trek is a very challenging trek with the highest height point of 5400 meters. The beginner might discover this trail arduous.  We should have enough rest time to safely complete this trek. Distinct training like Running, Skipping, and other exercises before the trip will certainly help you in the trek. We have rest and acclimatization days to avoid altitude sickness and additional dangers.
