Mount Annapurna- I, 8091 meters above sea level is the tenth highest peak in the world. Annapurna- II, 7937 meters high and Annapurna- III, it stands with an altitude of 7500 meters above the sea level. The Annapurna is a 55km long massif with one peak over 8000 meters, thirteen peaks over 7000 meters and six peaks above 6000 meters above the sea level. Kali Gandaki George bounds the mountain range from the west, the bustling Marshyangdi River towards the north east, Pokhara valley towards the south and the Annapurna Sanctuary towards the western end. The oval shaped glacial basin is situated at an altitude of 4000 meters above the sea level.
The first and the largest conservation area of Nepal Annapurna conservation area covers the entire massif and its surroundings. The conservation area not only has protected the flora and fauna of the region but also the natural beauty of the place. Annapurna Sanctuary and Annapurna circuit are the world class treks that this region offers. The Annapurna Base Camp stands at an altitude of 4130 meters above the sea level.
In this tour we will fly from Pokhara to the Base camp, have breakfast there and enjoy the views from Sanctuary and fly back to Pokhara again.
