Trip Overview

One of the off-beat and unique trekking routes of Nepal is the Annapurna Dhaulagiri community trek. This trek is also famous as the Myagdi-Parbat eco trek. The route lies in the Annapurna region near Poon Hill. Trekking to this area will also help the nearby villages and remote communities. During the trek, one can experience lots of cultures and traditions of the locals. 10% of the profit is donated for the development of the locals. The route offers you with beauty and culture.

On the way, you will view beautiful landscapes and get to enclose with mountains. One of the major highlights of this trek is Nangi village which is the first wireless internet connect remote village in Nepal which is done by Mahabir Pun. This trekking route is managed by the local communities to raise money for the infrastructure developments here. The trail is neither so difficult and nor so expensive. On the way, you will also get to see many projects running. Through this trek, you will enjoy nature as well as be a helping hand to develop the area indirectly.

The journey offers you the view of almost 25 high mountain ranges of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manaslu. You will get to see many handmade unique crafts by the locals. All night stays (lodging) and foods are managed by the community people. The routes pass through forests full of floras and faunas. We will pass through many viewpoints such as Mohra Danda, Danda Kharka, Histan, and more. And the trekkers will also get to visit the holy temples and lakes. You will mainly find people of the Magar community and see them farming and raising yaks. This trek will add amazing memories for the lifetime.


Itenerary

After your arrival in TIA, our representative will be waiting for you to guide through the streets of Kathmandu and reach your selected hotel. In the evening you can roam the local areas nearby the hotel and the heritages nearby. You can go through the maps and outlines of the trip at the night.
We will take an early morning drive to Pokhara. After reaching Pokhara, we will have lunch and continue the drive to Galeshwor. From Galeshwor we will start our walk of 3 hours to Bas Kharka. On the way to Kharka, we will pass through Magar village, some farmhouses, and the beautiful forest. You will see the oranges on the hillside. Overnight in a lodge in Bas Kharka.
After having breakfast, our trail continues to Nangi village. We will walk down to Dandakharka, crossing some rhododendron forests. Since we will be walking down the hill we can view some parts of the mountains and valley. After 5 hours of walk, we will reach Nangi village. Here you can see people making paper, you will also see many medicinal herbs. We will stay in a lodge in this village for the night.
Leaving Nangi village, the trail continues through the forest and mountain views. It will be a long walk of hours to reach Mohara hill. From Mohara Hill, we can see the mesmerizing view of mountains-Machhapuchre and Dhaulagiri. Here you won’t see villages but here is a wide connection of the internet. The night and food will be at the lodge by the community.
Finishing our breakfast, we will start our walk of 5 to 6 hours. The walk will be steeper with beautiful views in all directions. Walking ahead, we will reach the camp of Ghorepani. From Ghorepani, you will have an amazing view of mountain ranges. Since this is the main Annapurna Circuit route, you will see many trekkers here. We will have our lunch at Ghorepani and then continue 2 hours to walk down to Swantha. Overnight in Swantha.
We will continue the trail uphill passing alongside the river. On the way, we will take luch break and then continue the walk towards Khopra Danda which will take around 2 to 3 hours. Reaching Chistibung, you will see the school and get to interact with the children who are getting educations through the trek profit. Overnight in the lodge at Chistibung.
Waking up to a beautiful sunrise, we will have breakfast. We will climb up to the tree lines, the area is for wildlife so you need to be aware. Moving ahead, we will reach Khopra Danda which offers a panoramic view of Annapurna south and the view of Nilgiri to the South. With these amazing views, we will spend the night in a lodge here.
It will be an easy day today as we will descend down through ridges. On the way, we will view the villages and Mt Dhaulagiri. If you are lucky you will get to see Lophophorus (Danphe) which is the national bird of Nepal. We will have a lunch break at Bayali Kharka and again resume the walk to Dobato. You will have beautiful views of mountains like Machhapuchre, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South and more. Overnight in a local hotel.
Finishing the breakfast, we will climb to Muladi viewpoint for the amazing sunrise view. After enjoying the view, we will descend to Dobato. Enjoying the mountain views we will complete the walk of 5 hours to Tadapani. You will get to see many Tibetan who lives in this place. We will spend the night in the hotel at Tadapani.
After having breakfast, we will continue the walk of 3 hours to Ghandruk. We will walk down Baisi Kharka following the forest. Then we will reach Ghandruk which is the village of Gurungs. We will have a Nepali lunch and then take a drive to Pokhara. We will spend the night in a lakeside hotel in Pokhara.
In the morning, we will take a drive for Kathmandu. Enjoying the landscapes and cities, we will reach Kathmandu. Our representatives will drop you at your hotel. You may rest or sightsee the possible places of Kathmandu.
Our representative will help you reach to TIA by arranging you a farewell lunch in a typical Nepali style and help you at the airport to fly you back to your place. In case you want further trips to Nepal, you can inform us, we will arrange it for you as per your comfort.
