It’s a 6 days trek starting from Kathmandu amid traditional Gurung hamlets filled with rich cultures of this ethnic group blended with heartwarming hospitality. The highest altitude you’ll reach is Poonhill at 3210m where you’ll find yourself in front of  3 of 8 mountains above 8000m located in Nepal, along with an undisturbed panoramic view of Annapurna mountain range. You can clearly see Churen, Dhaulagiri, Tukuche peak, Dhampus peak, Nilgiri, Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiuchuli, Annapurna III, Machapuchchhre, Annapurna II, Lamjung Himal, Manasalu, Boudha Himal(in serial) which is just a sneak peek of trekking experiences you can enjoy in Nepal.

This trek is also famous as Mini balcony Annapurna trek as it is panoramic synopsis of the Annapurna circuit trek. You will feel as if you’re in the balcony watching the most beautiful sunrise amongst the mountains as fresh air smoothly touches our face with blessings from nature.

The Gurung hamlets scattered over the trails will adapt to your cultural experiences and make every step worth it by their hospitable culture, traditional dances, music, and costumes mixed with wonderful aroma of love. Gandruk is the example village for cultural tourism, not only for this trip but all over Nepal. Not to mention the aesthetic terrace farming.

Itenerary

Your trek will begin from Kathmandu early in the morning on a tourist bus. After around 6 hours drive through beautiful tropical valley and midhill, you will reach the city of lakes; Pokhara in the afternoon. You will stay at hotel at lakeside where you can do sight seeing around the city, enjoy boating in Phewa lake and be mesmerized by the evening aarati.
Next morning you will drive to Nayalpul from Pokhara which is around one and half hour drive. The city is equally beautiful in the morning. Your real trek will begin from Nayapul as you ascend to Birethati. Ascending through the hills, you will surpass Matathati and have lunch in Ramghal. After that, you will then, head towards Hile, then to Tikhedhunga and after some time reach Ulleri. The trek from Nayapul will last 4 to 5 hours to Ulleri where you will stay the night.
Next morning from Ulleri after having breakfast you will head to Banthati and trek upto Ghorepani which will be the final stop for the day after 5 hours of trek.
To watch the magical sunrise from balcony of Annapurna, you will go to Poonhill early in the morning. After watching the sunrise and enjoying the nature you will come back to Ghorepani, have your breakfast and get ready for much bigger experiences. From Ghorepani, you will have 5 hours trek to Ghandruk. Between these places, you will reach Deurali, which is full of Rhododendron forests in full blossom, Tadapani and finally at Ghandruk where you will rest the night with cultural experiences.
After breakfast at a Gurung lodge, you will head out for Nayapul from Ghandruk which takes around 5 hours of descending trek. You will be able to enjoy the rural cultural lifestyle at Syaulibazar before actually reaching Nayapul. From Nayapul, 2 hours of drive will take you to Pokhara. You will have a night at Pokhara.
It will be your final day of the trek. You will travel back to Kathmandu from Pokhara by bus.
