Trip Overview

Mera Peak climbing is an outstanding choice for anyone with a moderate mountaineering encounter. It is a challenging trekking peak due to its height, but the technical mountaineering preparation is very basic. Also, the Sherpa guide will provide us with the necessary mountaineering foundation before the real summit trek.

Mera Peak a kind of highest summit stands at 6,461 meters and 21,190 feet, with climbing ramp classed as PD ( Peu Difficile / little technical difficulties and walking on glaciers) the grade as per Swiss / French Alpine System, this trekking guides to enclosed and well-concealed Hinku valley, in absolute solitude on the isolated side of Khumbu and Everest region. The whole Hinku Valley is so perfect from the lovely wilderness of flora and fauna to pristine lush of alpine, rhododendron forest and oak woods this place displays the nature in raw form.

Mera Peak Trek, on running the forest tree lines heads to arctic zone with moraine, frost, and glaciers, beginning the ascend from High Camp which is at 5,780 meters, with decent rest and acclimatization in Mera Base Camp 5, 300 meters. This trekking spot doesn't invite more technical difficulties as other trek does.

This majestic adventure starts and terminates with a pleasant scenic short flight to and from Lukla, "the gateway to Everest" and to another astonishing area of Khumbu, trek leads through high passes, peaceful forest, summer meadow, and towards moraines and turquoise glacial lakes. After we conquer the Mera Peak we will basically return from the journey on the same path back to Lukla which will end our sophisticated but easy fabulous trek to Mera Peak.


Itenerary

After arriving in the lovely capital if Nepal via Tribhuwan International Airport, our agents will be there to receive you and transfer you to one of the standard hotels of Kathmandu.
You’ll have a very wonderful time by exploring some of the greatest cultural and historical heritages of Kathmandu. Have a very gracious time and prepare for your trekking by buying some of the crucial recommended gears.
You will travel to the domestic airport and board an immediate flight to Lukla. En route, you will enjoy the splendid panorama of mountains like Langtang, Ganesh Himal, and Everest. In Lukla, you will meet the local guide who will escort you throughout the trek. Walking past the lush of rhododendron and pine trees, you will reach Chutanga. Overnight in Chutanga.
After energizing breakfast, you will ascend in the enchanting rhododendron forest. You will trek along the Kalo Himal Ridge that will distinguish Hinku Valley and Khumbu region. As the trekking flourishes step by step you'll come across a magnificent panorama of Dudh Koshi and Lumding Himal. You will also face yaks and their hardworking shepherds. You will appear over an enormous rock, which is in Thuli Kharka. Overnight in Thuli Kharka in camp.
The power-boosting breakfast will make you hit the trail that descends into the Hinku Valley. En route, you will see sensational views of Mera Peak, Peak 43, and Kusum Kanguru. Savor the glittering surrounding made by lovely red rhododendron and greenish pine trees. Proceed walking on the ridge to arrive at Kothe. Overnight in Kothe.
Your trekking will commence in the grazing pasture of yaks. The track goes along the elevation of Hinku Valley and lustrous Mera peak due to the glimmering sun would be calling us throughout the trail. You will pass through the remarkable and antique 200-year old Lung Sumba Gompa. Proceed to ascend as you arrive at the edge of the hill to Thangnak. Overnight in Thangnak at the lodge.
Empowering breakfast will lead you to recapitulate your trek through the verdant basin called Dig Kharka, which extends wonderful views of Charpate Himal. The uphill trek through this basin is mild. Few hours of the walk will make your campsite noticeable. Discover spectacular glimpses of Mera range as you trek towards the uplands of Khare and set up camps. Overnight in Khare in camps.
Lesuire day will be a big relief for you. As you'll be escalating to higher elevations, it is extremely necessary to acclimatize. After powering breakfast, you will wander towards nearby areas to explore the place. The campsite has superb scenes of Mera Peak, Hinku Sher Glacier, and Mera La. Overnight in Khare.
The way to High Camp is loaded with stones and rocks. You will trace your way through the rocky trail while relishing the glimpses of the encircling panorama. Hike through Mera glacier and Naule glacier, and after a few good hours, you reach the camp. Savor the charming views of snowy mountains circling you. Overnight in High camp in tents.
The day has eventually arrived to summit the peak. You will forcibly wake up around 1-2 a.m. and begin to arrange for the climb. As the midday winds can make your trek arduous, it's very essential to call your summit trekking as quickly as possible. Your success at the top of the Mera Peak will reward you with panoramic views of Everest, Cho Oyu, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, and many other mountains of the Khumbu region. After immersing in the picturesque glimpses, you will return to the camp at Khare. Overnight in Khare.
After your victorious climb, you will go back and retrace the moves you took to ascend. Owning the views of the mountains and landscapes, you will move downhill to Kothe through Thangnak. Reaching Kothe will be your lovely relief. Relax your aching body and appreciate the surrounding views. Enjoy the local treats as you're socializing. Overnight in Kothe.
After empowering breakfast, you will enjoy the trek through gleaming rhododendron and lush pine forest. Youll trek through grazing fields as you will enjoy the scenes of Mera Peak and its neighboring peaks. A series of ascending and descending, you will arrive at Thuli Kharka. Once at Thuli Kharka, appreciate the glimpses of Mera Range. Overnight in Thuli Kharka.
Today is the concluding day of trekking in the Khumbu region. Your breakfast will make you resume your trek and enjoy the beautiful topography. As you reach your lodge in lovely Lukla staff will be waiting for you to give victory farewell dinner. Share your triumphing story and socialize with hospitable local people and bid them goodbye.
After energizing breakfast in Lukla, you will head towards the airport and board an early flight to Kathmandu. En route, you will relish the aerial panoramic views of mountains and towering hills. You'll be transferred to a standard hotel in Kathmandu. Explore the lovely vicinity of Kathmandu in your spare time. Overnight in Kathmandu.
You’ll be heading back to your home by bidding farewell to Nepal and its amazing hospitable people. Make sure you open the suitcase of beautiful memories you cratered in Nepal.
