Trip Overview

Mohare Danda is a short recently established trekking route laid on the foothills of Annapurna which gives you the experience of off the beaten track trekking. This is an eco-tourism based trek which supports local community projects and focuses on the upliftment of livelihood of local inhabitants. Mohare Danda provides an opportunity for you to explore the unspoiled cultures and tradition, untouched natural beauties along with beautifully imposing snow-capped mountains. It also provides the closest view of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range which is one of the attractions of this trek. You will be blessed to see a mesmerizing and attractive sunrise and sunsets that lay its golden rays on such glistering mountains. Mohare danda is best for short vacation treks along with unique vegetation like alpine prairies, rhododendron forest, bamboo forest, oak, pine, etc. the rhododendrons bloom from February to April which makes the scenario colorful. You will see a wide settlement of Magar and Gurung communities along with their rural lifestyle. These communities are the reason why this trek is known as eco-tourism trek. 

You will start your trek by arriving at Kathmandu first then drive to Pokhara, the city of lakes. You can explore Pokhara as well as because it is the city of lakes. You may stroll around the lakeside or buy yourself gifts. After then you will start your trek from Bans Kharka and continue trekking till Mohare Danda. You will be stopping at some places to have dinner and sleep overnight. This trek is about 10 days long so you can enjoy your short vacation investing some time on this trek as it is worthwhile. 

Itenerary

You will be arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu where our representatives will welcome you and escort you to the hotel. You will check in to the hotel then relax for some time. You can stroll around the hotel area for shopping or exploration. You will spend overnight at the hotel.
You will have your breakfast then move for Pokhara. You will be traveling on our private tour bus and it will take you about 7 hours to reach Pokhara. After reaching Pokhara, you will be transferred to a hotel where you can relax or explore the city of lakes.
After your breakfast, you will be driving to Galeshwor along the banks of Kali Gandaki River.you will have your lunch on your way. After lunch you will be trekking to Bans Kharka and crossing a suspension bridge over Kali Gandaki River going through a forest.you will be staying overnight in a homestay.
After your breakfast, you will trek further to Nangi which takes about 5 to 6 hours through a forested path. You will be observing a breathtaking view of mountains and scenarios along with beautiful Nepali style houses. After crossing the forest, you will arrive at a Magar village, Nangi. You will be staying overnight in a lodge.
You will begin your trek to Mohare Danda which is your prime destination. The trail will lead you through oak, bamboo, and rhododendron forest then finally reach on top of Mohare Danda.it will take you about 6 to 7 hours walking. Danda means hill in Nepali. After you reach on top, you will see a magnificent view of beautifully standing Fishtail, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and other mountain ranges. You will be enjoying the view till the sun sets because Mohare Danda provides you one of the best sunset and sunrise as well.
You will wake up early morning to view the naturally beautiful and fulfilling view of sunrise. You will be amazed to see the rays of golden sun laying on glistering snow-capped mountains. Thus, you will ascend and descend through gorgeously colorful rhododendron forest and the trail will lead you to Deurali. It will take you about 6 hours to reach Deurali through Ghorepani. You will have dinner and spend your night at a guesthouse.
After a quick breakfast, you will turn back to Ghorepani as you will be passing through forests, cultivated lands, suspension bridges, etc. Ghandruk is a Gurung village where you will be visiting Gurung Culture Museum and get to know about their lifestyle, culture, a tradition in depth. You will be staying in a homestay.
Ghandruk to Kyumi will be your last trek of this package. After having your breakfast, you will trek down to Kyumi which is about an hour. You will then walk along the flagstones trail and reach Kyumi bus stop. You will be traveling back to Pokhara by our private four-wheeler vehicle. After you reach Pokhara, you will be transferred to the hotel where you can relax for some time then explore or shop something for yourself.
You will have your breakfast then travel back to Kathmandu enjoying the scenic view while returning. This will take you about 7 to 8 hours to reach Kathmandu. You will then be transferred to the hotel. you can relax as per your time an do anything for the rest of the leisure time. Overnight stay at the hotel.
You will be returning to your homeland saying bye to Kathmandu. Our representatives will drop you to the airport 3 hours before your scheduled flight.
