Australian Base Camp is located in the northwestern part of the beautiful Pokhara valley. It can be reached within 3hrs of drive from central city Kathmandu. The elevation of the Australian Camp is 2061 meters from sea level.

You will arrive in Pokhara on the 2nd day of your tour, and within a week, the tour will be concluded. The trails are not challenging and are moderate. Treks can be done quickly from walking 4-5 hours maximum in a day.

ITINERARY

  • Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu 1300m

    Arrive at Kathmandu Tribhuwan International Airport, and you will see our representative waiting for you. The staff will help you with the luggage and transfer you to a nice hotel in the central city. You will have time to explore Kathmandu city. Places like Basantapur, Thamel are famous for their nightlife so you can have dinner or visit nearby shops to buy gifts and accessories.
  • Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara 820m/ 4 hours

    Today we will leave early in the morning, leaving Kathmandu city behind. We will drive towards Pokhara, which will take about 7 hours of drive, a 200 km distance from the central city. As you arrive, you will be transferred to a nice hotel, and in the evening, you can explore and roam around the lakeside.
  • Day 3: Drive from Pokhara to Phedi and trek to Dhampus 1650m/ 3 hours

    Today we will trek to the beautiful place Dhampus by driving from Pokhara to Phedi. We will have morning breakfast at Pokhara and make our way to Phedi. From Phedi, we will climb the stone staircase and hike through Rhododendron forests. After reaching Dhampus, you will be greeted with peaks of the Annapurna Ranges from the southern side. You will also witness majestic views of Machhapuchhre (6993m) and Lamjung Himal (6883m).
  • Day 4:Trek from Dhampus to Australian Base Camp 2165m/ 3 hours

    Today we will wake up as early as we can and have breakfast with a beautiful sunrise. We will have some morning yoga and meditation sessions at Dhampus to refresh our minds and soul. After morning yoga, we will make our way through the thick forests of Rhododendron and oak forests. After walking for an hour or so, we will reach Pothana. We will take lunch or snacks and take a rest for a while. After a short break, we will climb through a stone staircase like before and arrive at Australian Base Camp within a few hours of a hike from Pothana. You can explore the Camp in the evening. Meet with locals, get warm hospitality from them and have authentic Nepali food for dinner.
  • Day 5: Trek to Kande from Australian Base Camp 1770m/ 2 hours

    Today we will have yoga and meditation in the Australian Base Camp and the view of Mountains and Hills. Breathe in the fresh, pure, and clean air at the base camp. For this, we will wake up early and have yoga with the sunrise. After yoga, your body and mind will be refreshed, leaving you with an immense feeling of joy. With a cool breeze running through your body, your muscles will relax from the yoga stretching. As practicing yoga in the mountains has many benefits to your body, mind, and heart, your body will feel much more oxygenated, and relaxed which helps increase the energy and flow of blood in your body. After breakfast, we will leave Camp behind and make our way towards Kande. We will have to hike down along the rocky trail for a few hours, and from Kande, we will drive to Naudanda. We will help you get transferred to a nice hotel in Naudanda where you can freshen up and enjoy your local meals.
  • Day 6: Drive from Naudanda to Pokhara and Kathmandu

    We will leave Naudanda behind by driving to Pokhara. After arriving in Pokhara, you will have plenty of time to explore the city in depth. You can do Paragliding or boating at Phewa Tal. You can also visit David’s falls or go to a nice fancy restaurant at the lakeside and have lunch of your choice. In the evening, we will depart to Kathmandu, leaving the beautiful city of Pokhara behind.
  • Day 7:Final Departure

    Today is your final day at Kathmandu, where the trip comes to an end. Our representative will help you with the check-out and help you reach the airport before your flight schedule.
