OVERVIEW

The Langtang Yoga Trek is a complete package of exploring nature and our inner self. It allows us to enjoy the natural beauty with the spiritual experience through yoga and meditation. At the end of this trek, you will have a handful of memories of exploring the beautiful Himalayas and the vibrant Tamang culture.

The journey brings us down the mountain with amazing vistas of Langtang Himal, Kerung, Ganesh, and many more peaks. We will walk over terraced fields while admiring the lush green alpine forest and various varieties of flora and fauna. The variation in scenery demonstrates what it means to claim Nepal has topographical diversity.

The spectacular study of Tibetan Buddhist culture, Tamang traditions, monasteries, and temples with mind-calming yoga and meditation on our trek will revive our souls. We will begin with a temple tour in Kathmandu and end with a visit to the monasteries up there. The key attractions of this journey are the Langtang Khola, Bhote Koshi River, Langtang Himal, and Langtang River.

ITINERARY

  • Day 01: Welcome to Kathmandu (1300 meters).

    Welcome to the city of temples. As soon as you arrive in Kathmandu ( Tribhuwan International Airport), our airport representative will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel. You can freshen up and take a rest for a while. If you have itchy feet, you can get down to explore some famous local markets including Ason and Thamel. The bustling streets of Kathmandu have their own stories to tell. Don’t forget to try the street foods. Overnight in Kathmandu.
  • Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu

    Kathmandu is known as the city of temples. This venue brilliantly integrates traditional art and culture with modern culture. There are several UNESCO-listed cultural heritage sites in Kathmandu, including Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, and many others. These three locations will be our travel destinations for the day. They have enormous religious importance and demonstrate the essence of Hinduism and Buddhism. At night, you will be a part of a special welcome supper accompanied by Nepali folk music. Overnight in Kathmandu.
  • Day 03: Drive to Syabrubesi by bus (1460 m)

    The day features a 7-8 hours drive from Kathmandu. This scenic drive includes the vista of small villages, human settlements, lush green hills, and majestic mountains. We will cross the Trishuli Bazaar and the beautiful Trishuli river. Then, we will cross a bumpy trail of Dhunche Bazaar to reach Syabrubesi. We will end our day with a spiritual meditation session and delicious Tamang cuisine.
  • Day 04: Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel trekking(2435m)

    The day starts and ends with Yoga. It is very beneficial to keep both our body and mind active. After breakfast, we will trek for about 5-6 hours to reach the Lama Hotel. We will enter the Langtang National Park this day and enjoy the view of red rhododendron flowers and varied species of flora and fauna. We will continue the trek and finally reach the Lama hotel by trekking alongside the Langtang Khola. The day ends with a yoga class and a short meditation session.
  • Day 05: Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3430 m)

    We will again start our day with a yoga session and breakfast. Then, we will start hiking again through the Langtang region with the astounding views of Langtang Lirung. Talk to the locals to learn about their culture, values, and history. Heading north in the lush green forest takes us to the Langtang village. Overnight.
  • Day 06: Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa (3870 m)

    We will proceed through the path that winds between beautiful yak pastures, glacial moraine, and streams after early morning breakfast and a brief yoga session. The snow-capped Himalayas look down on the hikers to show how welcoming and kind nature is. Langtang Lirung, Dorje Larpa, Gaurishankar, and Langtang Ri will be clad in shiny white attire. For a while, you'll forget all the pain and tiredness. Kyanjing Gompa is a well-known Buddhist monastery in the Langtang region. We will meditate there for a while and visit the famous cheese factory. Overnight.
  • Day 07: Hike to Kyanjin Ri (4773 m)

    Hiking to the highest point of the trek i.e Kyanjin Ri rewards us with the serenading view of Dorje Lakpa, Langtang Lirung, Yala peak, and many more mountains. We will get down to Kyanjin Gompa and end our day with light yoga positions. Overnight.
  • Day 08: Trek back to Lama Hotel (2410 m)

    We will trek down to the Lama Hotel crossing beautiful yak pastures and green forests of the Langtang Region. We will keep the same yoga routine as the other days. We will cross beautiful Tamang settlements and Bamboo to reach the Lama Hotel. We will enjoy the delicious dishes prepared by the locals and end the day with meditation.
  • Day 09: Trek to Syabrubesi from Lama Hotel

    We will wake up early in the morning and kick start the day with a mind-calming yoga session. Then, we will continue our trip into the forest, which is home to red pandas and a variety of birds and flora. The Langtang and Bhote Koshi rivers flow alongside, contributing to the natural beauty. The Tamang people, their cultural rituals, and the colorful prayer flags are also shown throughout. After lunch, the trail continues to Syabrubesi. We continue our journey to Syabrubesi, following the Langtang River. As we approach Syabrubesi, we will see the bustling livelihood once more, as it is a popular residential location in the Langtang region. Overnight.
  • Day 10: Drive to Kathmandu

    We'll take a lovely overland drive back to Kathmandu. We will bid our goodbyes to the smiling mountains, swift-flowing rivers, hills, and settlements. We will directly head to our hotel and take a rest there. We will enjoy the farewell dinner with the entire team. You can indulge in meditation for a while after dinner.
  • Day 11: Final Departure.

    Our airport representative will transport you to the Tribhuwan International Airport after breakfast. You will also have a special yoga session scheduled with the motto of mind and soul cleansing. You will return home with wonderful travel memories of the mighty Langtang region We wish you all the very best and bid you farewell.
